Der MR340-1 Controller DIN wurde für die Inkremental Drehgeber der Serie MR340 hergestellt. Er wird zur Montage auf DIN-Schienen verwendet.
Die Drehgeber werden über eine Multimode-Glasfaser (62,5µm / 125μm) an den Controller angeschlossen. Dieser ermittelt die Position und berechnet Drehzahl oder Lineargeschwindigkeit des angeschlossenen Encoders.
